EXPERIENCE

Frikkie is currently a registered Master Tax Practitioner of the SA Institute of Taxation (SAIT) as well as a SARS registered tax practitioner.

Frikkie has over 30 years of experience in consulting within Indirect Tax (specializing in VAT). He was a director within the Indirect Tax practice of a large accounting firm in South Africa. Before that, he joined one of the Big 4 accounting firms where he spent about 8 years and approximately 10 years with the South African Revenue Service gaining experience in the various departments related to VAT.

In his career, Frikkie has consulted numerous entities in all relevant aspects of VAT ranging from assistance with VAT registration to providing detailed opinions, and especially enjoys presenting VAT training workshops.

  IV.         Advanced Certificate in Tax

    V.         Certificate in VAT

  VI.         Certificate in Customs and Excise
